Sizzlin' Snails, sans heat
Tuesday, April 27, 2010

I'm having lunch with my dad at the kitchen table and he looks outside and sees a snail inching along on the wet pavement since it just drizzled. "Oh, look! A snail!" says he, as I continue to munch on my delectable rice and some kind of meat. "I wonder how long it will take for it to travel 100 miles."

I don't say anything for awhile and continue to eat, when he later says, "I wonder if I put salt on it, it will die." Of course, I knew he already knew the answer, and I tell him that I've seen Tomo do it before.

I should have known why the snail intrigued my dad so much. Before I knew it, he got up to get a tub of salt and opened the glass door outside. "Dad! Oh my gosh, dad!" I wail.

"Bianca!" he says with a serious face. I was so sure he'd tell me to stop yelling, since I have high pitched shrieks when I overreact, but no. He says, "You should know by now. I am an animal killer."

And then he dumps some salt on the snail. As we watch it die, my dad asks me, "Remember when we went to Disneyland and I killed that bug?"

We start laughing like crazy. Damn, my dad is the worst.

Your Imaginary Friend?
Monday, April 26, 2010

Today in Communications class, I asked this guy if anyone was sitting in the empty seat next to him. When he answered "Yes, my imaginary friend," I stood there for a few moments before I proceeded to sit beside the empty chair. That's when everyone (at the table) laughed and said "No, we're kidding!"

The other day, it was Sunday, I think, I was watching the Backborn PV and capping, and I kind of.. noticed Tsubasa might have been wearing black eyeliner. At first it came as a shock to me, because it was obviously outlining his eye, but I was unsure. A short while ago, I went back and watched it again to confirm it.

Aaah, eyeliner on guys is weird, I think, but when you're a performer/someone who goes on TV, it's inevitable. I think I was just mostly surprised because it was.. Well, not exactly thick, but enough for me to notice.

It was kind of cute. I sat in math class thinking about it, how it really enhanced his Bambi-like eyes.

Now I sound like a freak, I'm sorry. But noticing small things like that.. I don't know. It's kind of fun.

I really liked how they outlined his eyes to really bring out the color in Backborn, even though it might be ironic that it was black. XD

Ho, ho.. waaaaaah
Sunday, April 25, 2010

I'm a little sad/depressed. I haven't opened the Ho! Summer single by Tackey and Tsubasa that I bought awhile ago until today, and just as I was about to break the seal, I noticed the CD over had a crack, and some part of it was broken.

What?! Did this happen during shipping? It can't be! I know shipping was free, but it was packaged pretty nicely between bubble wrap and all that. It doesn't seem like something like that should happen, but it did!

Now I can't find it in my heart to continue opening it. T_T;

Yayayayay Tsuba on Shounen Club Premium~ Would it be too much to hope the 'stache is gone and that he has nice hair? Even more hopeful, that someone would subtitle? HMM.

I'm feeling quite sporadic right now because I need to do some calculus reading, but it's going to be soo boring. I'm exhausted and I want to draw, but I have no idea what. I think it's just the strain that comes from thinking too hard about colleges. I have to make my decision soon.

I drew today. 8D It's in my sketchbook and I haven't scanned it yet, though. I also started coloring a commission, am at a complete lack of idea for a piece of artwork for Sarah, and have yet to start a new commission.

Oh no, I have free time and I don't know what to dooo~
Tuesday, April 20, 2010

I'm getting a bit more free time than I usually do and it feels really weird. @_@;; I am happy, but as a workaholic who knew she was losing all her spare time, suddenly I'm distressed and, dare I say it, am finding myself bored!

Today, the second algebra class I was supposed to do sit-in tutoring for had a math midterm, so I was allowed to go. I needed the teacher to sign my time sheet, and I told her to forget today's date, since I wasn't going to be there. She told me she could have signed it for me, but I said no. I didn't want to cheat the school.

On the drive back, I kept thinking about how easy that would be, but no. I don't want to cheat a school that pays me to do homework, gives textbooks away free to students who meet a certain income line, and offers aid to students who can't afford school.

I'm not doing terribly, so I don't need to take from people who need it more. Until then, I have to turn in my time sheet late. By the time I realized it was due today, I was already back home. I wonder how late my payment will come?
